Reading is one of our favourite things at Ermine Primary Academy and we were lucky enough to join in with the e-hub to improve all things reading in the academy. It was a two year project focusing on improving standards in early reading including phonics and reading for pleasure. We were very excited to graduate from the programme and we attended the graduation event with the other local schools involved. Some of the successes were; excellent phonics screening results, an improved reading culture, better access to some great books and children who now find lots of pleasure in them.
To celebrate the success of the project we were gifted a Dazzle Pack which contained some amazing books that we will share with our children.
